Global Health Progress

The 59th Session of the World Health Organization Regional Committee for Africa opened today in Kigali.  At the meeting, WHO Executive Director, Dr. Margaret Chan, and Executive Director of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), Dr. Michel Sidibé, will be addressing African health ministers regarding the major health challenges currently facing Africa.
