Uganda: Million infected with blindness

One million people are infected with the river blindness disease in Uganda and another two and half million are at the risk of being infected minister of health has said. Dr. Steven Malinga said that government target is the elimination of the disease by 2015 under the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni has said that better health and agricultural production could enhance economic development in Africa.
