The Saudi embassy in the Philippines has advised medical clinics to intensify their medical screenings of Filipino workers bound for Middle Eastern countries. The Saudi embassy is concerned about the rising number of HIV cases in the Philippines, which has climbed so steeply in recent years that the UN commented on it on this year’s World AIDS Day.
