Kenya to Host Malaria Conference

Kenya is set to host the 5th Multilateral Initiative On Malaria Conference on November 1, 2009. Three thousands delegates are expected to attend the conference, to discuss research, treatment and prevention of malaria.
The conference comes not long after Kenya began a plan to eliminate the disease by 2017. In Kenya alone, 30,000 people die of malaria each year.
