Global Health Progress

Of the over 75,000 people screened for HIV in Ghana’s Volta Region between January and October of this year, over 3,000 have tested positive.  This is over a four percent increase in the number of HIV positive cases in the area in 2008, when just under 3,000 people were found to be HIV positive.
