Health Sector at Risk as Infant, Maternal Mortality Rates Rise

Liberia’s maternal and newborn mortality rates have reached 10 percent, the country’s health authorities announced Thursday. Ranking Liberia among 195 other countries, the United Nations lists the country in the bottom three.
