Global Fund to award grant to fight HIV, AIDS among MSM in South Asia

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria is working on a $47 million grant for a five-year community strengthening program in South Asia to reduce the spread of HIV and AIDS among men who have sex with men and transgender people. The Global Director of the United Nations Development Program’s HIV Group said that this grant shows commitment to and international support for the health and human rights of all people, even the most marginalized.
