Global Health Progress

Officials in Ethiopia reported Monday that an epidemic of “acute watery diarrhea” had infected 5,000 people, resulting in 34 fatalities in the past two weeks.  Some non-governmental organizations are warning that this epidemic may be a cholera outbreak.
