China donates malaria prevention, treatment center to Tanzania

A malaria prevention and treatment center, donated by the Chinese government to Tanzania, was unveiled Monday. The center is expected to advance malaria research and training as well as improve prevention and treatment of the disease in the east African country. The center is one of thirty the Chinese government promised at the forum on China-Africa Cooperation in 2006 to establish throughout Africa.
