Campaign to kick out malaria by 2010 launched

The ‘United Against Malaria’ campaign, an effort to eliminate the threat of malaria by 2010, was announced by Ugandan Health Minister Dr. Steven Mallinga during the campaign’s official launch last Thursday in Kampala. ‘United Against Malaria’ is a partnership with athletes, NGOs, foundations, governments and corporations who have come together in advance of the 2010 World Cup to help fight malaria.
